The Persian new year, Nowruz, unites all Iranians everywhere.  Iranians from Canada talk about the symbols of Nowruz, especially the goldfish which represents life, youth, exuberance, joy, beauty – and red, of course, is the colour of love. 10,000 goldfish are sold through one Toronto store alone.
